Leasing
There are NO up front costs in leasing with Scott's Express. All start up costs are handled by us, and where appropriate, are pro-rated back to the owner. There are no mandatory savings accounts either, although you may set one up to cover major expenses, or to use as you see fit.
Scott's Express does the fuel tax reporting for you, too, and we compute fuel tax on a per-truck basis, not as a percentage of total fleet costs. If you're careful with your fuel purchases, this can add up to real savings for you.
Qualifications:
Each driver must be DOT qualified and approved by Scott's Express, and meet all the requirements of our insurance company.
Orientation is thorough and includes driver qualifications and a pre-employment drug screening. The entire process can normally be completed in just two to three working days, then you can be on the road.
Insurance:
We paid Liability and Cargo Insurance. Physical damage and bobtail available on group plan.
Revenues:
Scott's Express is proud to be extremely competitive on revenues paid to the owner. All our settlement costs are handled in an up front and honest manner. Same Day settlement if paperwork is turned in before 2PM.
Pallet Program:
We do not charge our O/O for pallets on any of our loads (pallets must be approved pallet bank or left at approved location).

We find all loads, shipping and receiving appointments, load and rate information.
Advances:
We allow up to 40% per load.
Fuel Surcharge:
Any fuel surcharges are 100% passed onto the owner.
